General Government Liabilities (D2)

General government liabilities (D2) is calculated according to the latest international standards (including the 2001 GFSM and PSDS, on an accrual basis)
and includes accrual basis items, such as deposits, accounts payable, and advance payments in addition to the national debt (D1).
General government liabilities includes all accountings and funds of the central government and local governments(including educational) and non-profit public institutions.
D2 data is submitted to international organizations to be used as indicators for the fiscal soundness of countries.
